Duy Tan University expands its list of ABET-Accredited Programs
From December 8–10, 2024, Duy Tan University welcomed the evaluation team from ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology – USA) to conduct a site visit for four training programs: Civil Engineering, Food Technology, Management Information Systems, and Network Technology.
On August 28, 2025, the official results were announced: all four programs were successfully accredited by ABET with the maximum accreditation term of 6 years.
- Management Information Systems and Network Technology were accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission (CAC), in the second accreditation cycle, after first being accredited in August 2019.
- Food Technology and Civil Engineering were accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission (ETAC), in their first accreditation cycle.
This achievement demonstrates that Duy Tan University’s training programs fully meet ABET’s rigorous international standards and creates greater opportunities for students to pursue academic growth and career development in the global arena.
With this milestone, Duy Tan University now has a total of six programs accredited by ABET, making it one of the universities in Vietnam with the largest number of ABET-accredited programs. This recognition affirms DTU’s relentless efforts to enhance educational quality and its pioneering role in advancing international integration in higher education.
