Tạp chí Times Higher Education (THE) vừa công bố bảng xếp hạng thí điểm các trường đại học Đông Nam Á năm 2026, dựa trên phương pháp luận của Bảng xếp hạng đại học thế giới THE. Ở lần công bố đầu tiên này, THE đã phân tích 195 cơ sở giáo dục đại học trong khu vực, qua đó phác họa bức tranh tổng quan về sự phát triển của giáo dục đại học Đông Nam Á.
Theo kết quả được công bố, Singapore và Malaysia là hai quốc gia dẫn đầu khu vực. Hai vị trí đầu bảng thuộc về National University of Singapore và Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, trong khi phần lớn các vị trí còn lại trong top 10 là các trường đại học của Malaysia.
Bảng xếp hạng cũng cho thấy sự hiện diện ngày càng rõ nét của các cơ sở giáo dục đại học Việt Nam trong khu vực. Đại học Duy Tân được xếp ở vị trí thứ 19 Đông Nam Á, thuộc nhóm 601–800 của THE World University Rankings, qua đó tiếp tục khẳng định uy tín và vị thế của Nhà trường trong tiến trình nâng cao chất lượng đào tạo, nghiên cứu và hội nhập quốc tế.
Việc THE triển khai bảng xếp hạng thí điểm dành riêng cho Đông Nam Á không chỉ phản ánh sự quan tâm ngày càng lớn đối với khu vực, mà còn mở ra thêm cơ hội để các trường đại học nhìn nhận vị thế của mình, tiếp tục cải tiến và hướng đến các chuẩn mực quốc tế.

THE Releases the 2026 South-east Asia Pilot University Ranking
Times Higher Education (THE) has announced the 2026 South-east Asia pilot university ranking, based on the methodology of the THE World University Rankings. In this first pilot edition, THE analysed 195 higher education institutions across the region, offering an overview of the fast-evolving higher education landscape in South-east Asia.
According to the published results, Singapore and Malaysia lead the region. The top two positions are held by the National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, while most of the remaining places in the top 10 are occupied by Malaysian universities.
The ranking also highlights the growing presence of Vietnamese universities in the region. Duy Tan University is placed 19th in South-east Asia and is listed in the 601–800 band of the THE World University Rankings, further affirming the University’s reputation and standing through its continued efforts in academic quality enhancement, research development, and international integration.
THE’s introduction of a pilot ranking dedicated to South-east Asia reflects the region’s increasing importance in global higher education and provides universities with an additional reference point for benchmarking, improvement, and alignment with international standards.
